DATE: FEBRUARY 1,2,3 & 4th, 2005.

 

ELIGIBILITY:

Entries are open to amateur women, representing their countries or associations in a two player team competition.
 

 

ENTRIES, FEE, CLOSING DATE:

Please send or fax entry form attached to amfg2005@yahoo.com or fax number 525 55652 12 26, in Mexico City.
Entry fee: $500.00 USD per team, includes fee for the National Female Amateur Individual Tournament.
Please deposit fee in HSBC Bank, account number 4100443168 and fax deposit to above fax number or email. Payment may be made upon arrival, but entry form must be delivered before January 19th, 2005.
Entry applications must be received no later than January 19th. 2005.

 
 

 

AGENDA: (Breakfast, lunch and non alcoholic beverages included.)

Sunday January 30th. Practice round, after 12:30 p.m.
Monday January 31st. Practice round, after 9:00 a.m.

INAUGURATION CEREMONY WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY JANUARY 31ST. AT 5:00 PM, AT CLUB DE GOLF MEXICO CLUB HOUSE, TEAM UNIFORMS ARE REQUIRED.

Tuesday February 1st. 1ST. 18 hole round
Wednesday February 2nd. 2nd. 18 hole round
Thursday February 3rd. 3rd. 18 hole round
Friday February 4th. 4th. 18 hole round

Yardage played: 6,350 yards (white tees). Championship Flight. The team with the lowest aggregated score for 72 holes will be (Champion) awarded with the Gaby Alvarez Trophy or (Cup) and gold medals, silver medals for 2nd. place, and bronze medals for 3rd. place winners.

Simultaneously, the most important individual amateur tournament, the National Female Amateur will be held. Applicants are invited to participate in this competition individually, at no additional cost.

 
 

 

RULES OF GOLF:

Play will be governed by the rules of golf as approved by the U.S.G.A.
Any controversy will be settled by the A.M.F.G. executive committee, whose decision will be final. The competition shall be deemed to have closed when the championship trophy has been presented.

 
 

 

TIES:

Determined by sudden death.

 
 

 

GOLF BALLS:

Only brands of golf balls on the most current U.S.G.A. list of conforming balls may be used.

 
 

 

FOOTWEAR:

Soft spikes only. Penalty for breach of this condition: disqualification.

 
 

 

CADDIES (not included):

All players are required to take up (employ) caddies. Local caddies will be available at a fee of $300.00 mexican pesos per each 18 hole round or $30.00 USD approximately.

 
 

 

TRANSPORTATION:

Players shall walk at all times during a stipulated round.

 
 

 

PERSONAL APPEARANCE:

Golf etiquette must be observed at all times. Slacks or bermuda required, and golf shirt with collar or sleeves. No shorts, jeans or leggings.

 
 


REGISTRATION:

Sunday January 30th. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Club de Golf Mexico.
